Perihelion Interactive today released a new gameplay trailer from The Mandate, the six-player, cooperative, sandbox sci-fi RPG, planned for release Q1 2015 on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Called ‘Ghosts’, the trailer reveals the innermost thoughts of Lord High Admiral Suvarov, commander of the Grand Fleet, as he reflects on the those who have fallen in battle under his command… and those that will inevitably fall in the future.
The trailer has been created entirely from the in-game Unity engine and features acclaimed actor of stage and screen David Bradley (“Game of Thrones”, “Doctor Who”, “Harry Potter”) voicing the role of Suvarov.

Bradley is internationally recognised for his roles in blockbuster movies such as “The World’s End”, “Captain America: The First Avenger”, and as Hogwarts caretaker Flich in the Harry Potter series. Winning multiple awards for his stage work, Bradley has also played key roles in several successful TV series, most recently in the role of Walder Frey in “Game of Thrones” and William Hartnell/Doctor Who in “An Adventure in Space and Time”.
“I’m delighted to be working with the team at Perihelion Interactive to breathe life into the character of Suvarov,” said Bradley. “The Mandate is my first foray into the world of videogames, and I’m fascinated to see how my vocal performance is realised within the game.”
The Mandate has raised over $295,000 of its initial Kickstarter funding target of $500,000, and recently announced a series of stretch goals that will add further content to an already feature-packed release.
